Job overview

We are looking for an ambitious, committed leader who has high expectations of themselves to join our Senior Leadership Team. In this role, you will teach across the full age range of the school and should have experience of, and commitment to, the teaching and learning strategies necessary for successful differentiated, mixed ability teaching.    

Able to lead by example whilst being a supportive team member, you will have outstanding teaching and leadership skills and the ability to raise standards of achievement for all, making a significant difference to the lives of the children.   

Furthermore, you should possess a positive attitude and personal qualities of initiative, patience, tact and discretion, together with the utmost integrity and ability to remain calm under pressure. Essentially, you will have a sympathetic understanding for the varying needs of the pupils across the school.    

About Le Rondin 

Le Rondin is a Primary Special School for pupils aged 3-11 years who have a wide range of special educational needs. The School is organised in three Departments: Early Years (from Nursery to Year 2); Lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4); and Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5 and 6).    

At Le Rondin, we aim to provide a bespoke curriculum tuned to the needs of individual pupils. Le Rondin is co-located with the Forest Primary School, the two schools work closely together and share some facilities.   

This post carries a fifteen-year housing licence. If appointed, you can expect to:
