The Governors wish to appoint a visionary and inspirational leader to work alongside our well-focused and vibrant Senior Leadership Team to continue to drive standards and join this “Good” school on its journey.

Norton Canes High School, is a small 11- 18 high school situated in pleasant surroundings on the edge of Cannock Chase. Staff are valued and visitors always comment on the school’s pleasant and welcoming atmosphere 

This is a very exciting time for our school. Are you a dynamic, energetic leader who relishes the prospect of having a key role in meeting the high expectations of the school.

The focus of this post will be specifically on Inclusion; Relating to Behavior, Attendance, Safeguarding, PP and SEND

Norton Canes High School is a co-educational, non-denominational secondary with sixth form in Staffordshire. As of the most recent inspection there were 494 students on the school roll, of which 49 were enrolled in 16-19 study programmes.

Norton Canes is a small school, giving us the opportunity to offer a personalised and individual learning experience for young people. Pupils are given the opportunity to achieve their highest possible aspirations, in both academic and vocational fields.

The school is also committed to high standards of academic attainment and achievement through years 7 – 13 that can enable all pupils to flourish whatever their next step may be.
