We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about school improvement. We are looking for someone to join our recently reformed senior leadership team and to have responsibility for raising attainment in school.
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced, outstanding practitioner of science or boys PE with a strong commitment to improving children’s lives in schools with high levels of disadvantage and be able to demonstrate a clear track record of raising performance and of partnership working. A constant thirst for improvement and innovation alongside the determination to see developments through to their conclusions are essential.

The successful applicant will be a strong team player committed to the Academy’s vision of “Excellence for All”. Our latest Ofsted inspection (December 2018) judged three criteria as ‘Good’ – effectiveness of leadership and management, quality of teaching, learning and assessment and personal development, behaviour and welfare. Inspectors highlighted the vastly improved leadership and high ambitions, which has helped to improve the quality of teaching and pupils’ behaviour.
