We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher to the post of Assistant Headteacher for KS1 and FS. You will be passionate about teaching and learning and have excellent leadership and management skills.

You will lead all aspects related to KS1 and FS, and play a key role in the school’s senior leadership team.

- proven expertise and experience in KS1 and FS
- a secure knowledge of effective assessment in FS and KS1
- a proven track record of raising attainment for all pupils;
- a commitment to value our children and celebrate their achievements

About Aylward Primary School
Aylward Primary School is a growing school moving from a two to a three form entry school with Nursery. In April 2017 we moved into a brand new school building following a successful OFSTED inspection in March. The new school building is set in extensive grounds and has a specialist resource on site that caters for pupils who are on the Autistic Spectrum. This small group of children are fully integrated and enjoy the support of specialist staff. There are currently 495 pupils on roll at Aylward. Pupils are keen to learn and demonstrate very positive attitudes towards each other. The staff is a good balance of experienced, established and more recently appointed members. All enjoy working at Aylward and work closely in year groups and key stages. The school is committed to professional development.
