We seek to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to work with the Mathematics Department to ensure a sustainable improvement in the quality of Maths teaching and support our continued improvement of GCSE Maths results. They will also have whole school responsibilities including the line management of several curriculum areas. The ideal candidate will provide the senior leadership team with in-depth knowledge of maths and how to improve results in this area of the curriculum. They will work with the Programme Leader for Maths to continue improving the Maths curriculum and ensure teaching and learning in Maths is of the highest standard.


The ideal candidate will be an inspirational classroom practitioner who is organised and innovative and has a passion to improve learning for all students.  They will be able to teach Maths across a range of abilities and disciplines.
