TBAP Multi-Academy Trust  are now recruiting for a senior leader to join our extended leadership team with the potential to progress to a Head of School position at one of our AP academies in the future.  This post will be based.at our site in North Kensington (Near Latimer Road Station) but on occasions may require the post-holder to work across the trust to attend CPD events, or school to school support.  We are keen to interview candidates who are outstanding teachers, middle managers or leaders with significant experience in mainstream, special or AP sectors.  

The overarching aim of all our academies is to achieve reintegration back into mainstream school, further education or employment.   The academy provides a broad and balanced curriculum which meets the individual needs of learners with education health and care plans Learners are taught in small groups with a high level of support. 

 This job is about more than teaching. It’s about turning around the lives of vulnerable learners. Yes, it’s a big challenge. But it’s also an inspiring opportunity to make a difference to learners life's now and in the future.

The successful candidate will benefit from significant support from the TBAP Executive team and the TBAP Extended Senior Leadership Team and an individual CPD programme. 

TBAP Multi-Academy Trust includes nine Academies which have been judged as 'good' or ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted. We deliver high quality Alternative and SEMH Provision across four London Boroughs and across Cambridgeshire. Additionally, we have a Teaching School Alliance that offers extensive CPD and research programmes at all levels. In September 2016, we opened an innovative new 16-19 Academic AP Free school, which provides an academic curriculum to enable learners to gain access to Higher Education.  Additionally, two further academies will be joining the Trust in December 2017 located in Harlow and Warrington. TBAP Multi- Academy Trust are proud to hold a silver award from Investors in People.

The TBAP Multi-Academy Trust was established in March 2013 and currently covers the AP needs of four London boroughs: Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Haringey, and Westminster, as well as Cambridgeshire and comprises:

As a Multi Academy Trust and academy sponsor, TBAP created some of the first AP academies in the country.  The Courtyard AP Academy is rated as outstanding by Ofsted and is nationally recognised as an exceptional AP Provider.

TBAP is an approved DfE Academy Sponsor and provides education and support through its AP Academies and support teams, continually working hard to make sure that every pupil reaches his or her full potential. 

Using a highly personalised curriculum, 21st century learning spaces, expert practitioners and therapeutic interventions TBAP’s AP academies often achieve staggering progress with their pupils. TBAP also supports pupils in mainstream schools via expert outreach teams.

TBAP delivers education and reintegration packages to over 350 pupils from all phases.  The 2015-16 examination results were a great success across TBAP with a total of 474 GCSE passes.  More pupils than ever before achieved 5 or more GCSEs with year on year progress against most measurements.  Pupils at the Bridge performed particularly well with 92 % achieving 5 or more GCSEs with 25 % at 5 or more A*-C.  

The increasingly popular TBAP Teaching School Alliance leads nationally in the support of AP Academies and Free School; membership is growing.  TBAP is led by Chief Executive Officer, Seamus Oates CBE, who is a National Leader of Education and is also a member of the Youth Justice Board. He has recently been appointed as a member of the North, West, South and Central Headteachers’ Board. 

CSS main office is situated within the Latimer Building in North Kensington.  The CSS team provide school-based support and short-term interventions for schools and learners across West London.  The team consists of primary and secondary intervention providers which include The Childerley Centre, Courtyard AP Academy, Portobello and Golborne Projects.
