We are a rural primary school in North Oxfordshire, where our staff, governors, parents and the wider community are committed to providing the best outcomes for our children. We offer a wide and varied curriculum where children are encouraged to explore the world in which they live and to question what they are told, see or hear.

We are fortunate enough to have a large site with playing fields, playgrounds, a forest school area and an outdoor eco classroom, transformed from our old swimming pool - one of a kind!

We work very closely with our on-site pre-school to ensure a careful transition into our Reception class, and because of this close relationship, we see our children settle in quickly.

Our vision at Middle Barton, is that all children will question, challenge and engage in the world in which they live. Through compassion, respect and integrity, children will have high aspirations and expectations for themselves and others. Using curiosity, creativity and partnerships,  all our children will believe and achieve.
