Following a leadership review the opportunity exists for a suitably experienced, inspirational professional to spearhead our drive to empower 11-16 pupils at risk of under-achievement to overcome barriers to effective learning. From September 2018, you will both lead at a strategic level and model outstanding personal practice to highly motivated and capable colleagues, who increasingly appreciate the powerful potential of positive intervention. You will have exceptional interpersonal skills, a warm professional rapport and a genuine empathy for pupils' needs.

Northgate High School is a mainstream, state-community, co-educational, non-denominational, secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Ipswich in Suffolk and there are 1750 pupils on its roll.
