L13-17 – REQUIRED FROM SEPTEMBER 2019

Due to the promotion of the current post holder to a deputy headship, we wish to appoint a dynamic and committed pastoral leader who will be key in moving the academy from good to outstanding in all aspects of our work.  The successful candidate will work alongside the headteacher and other senior leaders in shaping the strategic direction of both the school and the multi academy trust.

You will be fully responsible for all aspects of pastoral provision including student motivation, health and welfare, attendance, behaviour and rewards.  There will be some negotiation of other responsibilities dependent on the strengths and experience of the successful candidate.

Trinity High School strives for excellence for all and was judged as a Good school in all categories by Ofsted in October 2018, commenting that “the students are a real asset of the school”.

About Trinity High School and Sixth Form Centre

Trinity High School and Sixth Form Centre is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in Worcestershire, serving students from the age of 13-18. The secondary school, situated in Redditch has approximately 934 students on record.

Formerly Redditch County High School, the school opened in 1932, being renamed to Abbey High School in 1974 when it changed from a grammar to a comprehensive school. The school reopened as Trinity High School and Sixth Form Centre in 2001, and in the same same year converted to academy status. It was identified as good by Ofsted in 2015.
