Priory School is a “Good” Ofsted rated, diverse & multi-cultural Primary Foundation School located on the outskirts of Slough. There are approximately 800 children ranging from nursery to Year 6. The school also has a Resource Unit with 69 children for pupils with complex needs.
We are looking for an Assistant Headteacher, with responsibility for Safeguarding, Behaviour, Attitudes and Disadvantaged Children, to join us in January 2020.
We have the highest aspirations for our children and the highest expectation of our employees. We are looking for an Assistant Headteacher that shares our view and has the skill to drive the very best outcomes for every single child in our school.
To be successful you will:
- Oversee the achievement of disadvantaged pupils.
- Be the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) with responsibility for all aspects of Safeguarding including policy and procedure, multi-agency working and training.
- Have a strategic overview of all aspects of positive behaviour management throughout the School and line manage the inclusion team to ensure that they meet their targets.
- Oversee the personal development of children, their attitudes to learning and general wellbeing.
- Recognise that effective relationships and communication are important in achieving success.
- Play a significant part in the continuing development of our school to become outstanding.
- Lead and manage innovative and creative learning experiences for all.
- Enhance the education of our happy, hardworking and well behaved pupils.
