The governing body are looking to appoint a skilled, ambitious, enthusiastic and committed Assistant Headteacher to join the Senior Leadership Team at Rhyl High School. 


This position will have responsibility for the strategic leadership of the English Department as part of this substantive leadership role giving the successful candidate the opportunity and the support to develop themselves fully for the next steps in their career. This role is the ideal preparation for deputy headship.


Rhyl High School is an 11-16 comprehensive school currently of 1200 pupils. We entered our new building 4 years ago and remain an oversubscribed school. Our school means everything to us, it is an organisation that has changed the futures of children. We acknowledge this and feel this responsibility every day.
