Our ideal candidate would:

• have at least 3 years’ middle leadership experience

• have excellent leadership skills

• be an excellent communicator who is a well-presented, articulate speaker

• be supportive of our Catholic ethos

• have a passion for school improvement

be proactive, resilient and adaptable

• be a dedicated and hardworking professional with a relentlessly positive, solution-focussed outlook

• be a person with high personal integrity and professionalism

• successfully initiate and implement change, including further raising achievement and progress

• engaged in developing themselves and wanting to progress further in school leadership.

The school is committed to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed.  The post is subject to an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).  Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and it expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

If you think you can make a difference in our school, please send your completed application form to Mrs Victoria Lynch (Victoria.Lynch@salford.gov.uk)

The school also encourages their ambitions, and teaches them how to live happy and fulfilling lives as they progress into further or higher education and the workplace.
