Assistant Headteacher

Bannockburn Primary seeks to appoint an Assistant Headteacher with a curriculum and team leading responsibility. The successful candidate will play a strategic role in enabling the quality of teaching and learning to be as good as it can be.  This is an exciting and unique opportunity for the right candidate to make a difference at our school.

The newly appointed assistant headteacher will have responsibility for:

• supporting curriculum provision across the school

• supporting quality of teaching and learning across the school

• pupil progress and achievement for all pupils within a designated responsibility

• ensuring staff are supported in achieving consistent best practice

• mentoring and inducting new staff

• being visible as a senior leader for staff, pupils and parents

• is prepared to give their all for the children and community

• is a qualified teacher

• has had successful impact as a middle leader for at least 2 years
