This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic leader to join an experienced and successful leadership team. Our motto is ‘Learn. Dream. The governors are seeking to recruit an outstanding and motivated practitioner with a passion for raising standards who can, along with the Headteacher and SLT, provide strategic leadership for our ‘good’ and improving school.

We are a vibrant learning community with a committed and aspirational staff and we endeavour to bring out the very best in each one of our young people. Ofsted noted that Sharples is “an inclusive, caring community where students achieve well.”

Values and Vision

Sharples School takes great pride in the diversity of its student body, and works hard to foster a strong sense of aspiration among all of our pupils. The school also works hard to fulfil its aims as a specialist science college, with the curriculum offering a range of STEM based subjects, both vocational and academic. First class pastoral support is an integral part of our provision, with the well-being of students and staff being a priority at all times.
