We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Headteacher to lead and enhance Teaching and Learning within our school. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with staff to drive high standards of academic achievement and ensure a positive, engaging learning environment for all students. With a passion for educational excellence, you will provide strategic direction in curriculum development, support teaching practices, and inspire teachers to deliver innovative and effective lessons. To follow the lead of the Headteacher of Bohunt Farnborough in securing highly effective teaching and learning at all levels and driving a culture of continuous improvement. To secure deep engagement with staff to enhance reflective practice with an extensive programme of Teaching and Learning CPLD. To ensure that language in all its forms is at the forefront of the school improvement agenda and is universally understood and appreciated as a key driver in improving achievement, progress and outcomes. The Assistant Headteacher will be an outstanding practitioner, a leader in assessment for learning and assessing student progress and a key person in the senior management team

Bohunt Farnborough is a mainstream, non-selective, community state secondary for girls and boys aged 11-16. The school is located in Farnborough, Hampshire and has good transport links via the M3 and A331.
