Assistant Headteacher - Teaching and Learning

The Governors and the Headteacher are looking to appoint an exceptional leader with whom they will work closely in order to build on Poltair School’s recent and rapid improvements and secure the next level of school performance and achievement.    Poltair School seeks a remarkable leader who will be responsible for the strategic overview and development of teaching and learning.  

The successful candidates will need to:

• Have a successful proven track record of raising standards  

• Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills 

• Be energetic, creative and able to embrace the challenges in this exciting, vibrant school

• Be an excellent team player who enjoys working collaboratively and leading by example, setting high standards for all 

• Be highly skilled in managing personal interactions 

• Be resilient under pressure
