The Executive Headteacher of the Queen’s Park Early Years Federation is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Assistant Headteacher to work within the current support network of Executive Head and federation senior leaders. 

This is a significant leadership responsibility and an opportunity to build upon our existing SEND provision at each nursery. You will be instrumental in creating plans with the federation’s SEND coordinator across both nursery schools. In addition, it is a chance to play a full role in a highly effective senior leadership team.

We are seeking an Assistant Headteacher who:

  • can communicate effectively and build relationships with all stakeholders
  • has a commitment to an inclusive education for all
  • has good leadership skills and is an excellent teacher
  • is committed to developing a positive, enthusiastic learning culture for all staff
  • is ambitious and eager to develop their own and others professional development
  • can demonstrate a high level of teamwork and perseverance
  • can demonstrate and model high expectations for staff and children
  • has a passion and a proven track record for increasing progress of SEND/ Pupil Premium/Underachieving children
  • can lead, motivate and inspire colleagues to continually achieve excellence and raise standards
  • has a current knowledge of SEN development and the SEN Code of Practice as defined in the job description
  • is an innovative thinker
