Assistant Headteacher (Staff Development and Pupil Care)
Salary: L13 – L20
Required for September 2019, a full-time permanent Assistant Headteacher to join our Senior Management Team.
Sheldon is a large, high performing comprehensive school with over 1700 pupils and is oversubscribed for 2019. We would like to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional to work with the headteacher and senior management team to build on our successes and take the school forward. This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate who is an outstanding classroom practitioner, who has pastoral welfare at their core and who has the ability to inspire both colleagues and students. The role is a varied one including leadership and management of the key stage 3 year heads, CPD and training, and line management of other key personnel within Sheldon.
The assistant headteacher would be joining a hugely committed senior management team in a friendly, successful school, where morale is high, students are keen to learn and there is a shared will to make it even stronger. If you possess the drive, energy, passion and ambition needed, we would very much like to hear from you.
