We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised and committed Assistant Housemaster/mistress to join our pastoral team from the start of our next academic year.

The Assistant Housemaster/mistress post is key in supporting the Housemaster/mistress and the wider House team in creating a family atmosphere for our pupils. The role requires someone with a real passion for providing practical pastoral care in a creative and innovative way who will take an active role in making a full contribution to all aspects of life within the school

Our ideal candidate will be a qualified, GTCS registered teacher. However, we will also consider applications from candidates with past experience in a pastoral role and strong evidence of supporting, developing and nurturing children. 

Salary will be determined by experience and aptitude for the role. Accommodation is provided on site which is available to the role holder throughout the year. 

If the successful applicant does not already hold registration with a recognised regulatory body, the Assistant Housemistress must be eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council as a worker in a Residential School Care Accommodation Service within 6 months of taking up post.
