This new role within school comes at an exciting time for our Key Stage 4 learners. You will share duties and accountability with our new Director of Key Stage 4.  We are looking for two applicants to fill the positions available, being responsible for Years 9 & 10.

The post is directly accountable to the new director and you will be jointly responsible for the welfare, progress and future progression of 400 students in Years 9 &10.

You will be responsible for these students during their crucial first two GCSE years, supporting them to become independent, resilient learners who take responsibility for their own learning.   By the end of year 10, all students will be ready for year 11 having made excellent progress both academically and through the development of their character.

•Has high aspirations for students’ attainment and progress regardless of background or start point, 

•Has high expectations of behaviour and committed to driving high standards across the school, 

•Can demonstrate excellent teaching and classroom management skills,

•Has the ability to build good relationships with all students and parents, 

•Has a proven track record of pastoral leadership within a school.
