Supporting the College Librarian, you will liaise directly with curriculum staff to provide relevant resources, collection development and research skills training. You will be responsible for managing the Library Management System and maintaining and updating the Library course on the College Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). In liaison with teaching staff, you will ensure that the stock, services and environment of the Learning Resources Centre (LRC) support student learning.
As a qualified Librarian you will have proven IT, comummunication, and organisational skills, as well as the ability to prioritise work either independently or as part of a team. Preferably, you will have knowledge of Heritage Cirqa and the use of online learning resources in a further education context. A teaching qualification is desirable.

It is a 16-plus institution with two main sites in Chichester and Pulborough, plus further outreach centres in Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and Worthing. It has links to local employers, most of a small to medium size.
Chichester College of Arts, Science and Technology, as it was formerly known, opened in 1964. Chichester College has been offering work-based training since 1996. It has approximately 10,897 part-time learners and 3,732 full-time students.
