Orchard Hill College is a National Specialist College for adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. We operate out of centres in Carshalton, New Malden, Wandsworth, Camberwell Green and Uxbridge and were graded Outstanding by Ofsted in December 2013 and maintained this grade in November 2019.

As Assistant Principal and Regional Lead you will be responsible for managing the operations of the college centres within your specified Regional Hub. You will liaise with Local Authorities within your region to build relationships and facilitate enrolments. 

You will have a key role in managing the personnel within the centres including multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a high performance culture and excellent student outcomes. This will include conducting performance appraisals and carrying out Teacher Evaluation Schedules (TES), for which training will be provided.

This is a strategic role working with the Senior Leadership Team and you will take a cross college lead on a particular area of expertise such as Teaching, Learning and Assessment. 

You will hold QTS or QTLS, have significant experience of good/outstanding teaching of students who have SEND, and successful experience of leadership and management responsibility.
