We are seeking an exceptional leader with unwavering dedication, positivity and initiative to assist in the development and growth of our Academy. Oasis is one of the UKs largest Multi-Academy Trusts. This is an exciting time to join the Oasis family as our sustained improvement has risen from 30% of our schools  or better to over 70% in the last two years.

Oasis Academy Arena is a co-educational secondary school, which opened in 2015. Staff are dedicated to helping students make the most out of their time at school. 

We currently have a total of 470 students on roll in years 7, 8, 9 and 10. The Academy has a Designated Resource Provision for 15 students with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

The academy will grow to 900 students on roll, with post-16 provision offered through the partnership with Oasis Academy Shirley Park.

About you

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Principal - Behaviour, who will lead on shaping the strategic vision and culture for whole school behaviour. 

We are looking for someone who can lead, challenge and support staff and students in shaping the strategic development and operational running of behaviour systems.

As we strive for positive behaviour throughout the academy you will embed the highest of expectations by leading the team to establish this culture throughout.

We are looking for someone who is able to:

  • Contribute to the formulation      of the Academy's vision, ethos, aims and objectives.
  • Lead on the strategic vision      and culture to improve whole school behaviour.
  • Lead strategies in response      to whole school behaviour analysis.
  • Support and challenge      teachers in the operational running of behaviour systems.
  • Be responsible, alongside      the Senior Leadership Team, for identifying the priorities that will lead      to continuous improvement in outcomes
  • Undertake some teaching      responsibilities
