The Olive School, Blackburn is a new 3-form entry primary school which opened in September 2013.Rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in June 2015, The Olive School is a vibrant and high achieving school that welcomes pupils from all faiths and none.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Assistant Principal who is passionate about ensuring high achievement and exceptional teaching and learning to work with our Executive Principal and Senior team to sustain the current successes of the school.

We are looking for an exceptional individual who:

• Is an outstanding classroom practitioner
• Has proven management and leadership at either Middle or Senior level
• Will lead by example and lead from the front
• Is passionate and committed to improving teaching and learning
• Has good interpersonal skills
• Has excellent presentational skills
• Is forward thinking, visionary, receptive to change and able to work under pressure.
