This is an exciting opportunity to join the senior leadership team of an Academy that is having substantial impact on pupils’ lives.
Joining us, you will lead and manage teaching and support staff across our Maths, Business and Health & Social Care faculty, and will have overall responsibility for those outcomes. Working with other members of our SLT, you will also monitor and track the progress of pupils, the quality of teaching and learning plus attendance and behaviour within the faculty.
An exceptional middle/senior leader with a demonstrable commitment to helping all pupils achieve their best, despite their background, you will have high expectations of behaviour and will motivate staff and pupils through high quality leadership and management. You will also be an innovative manager, able to analyse and interpret Academy data to support clear, strategic decisions.
Experience of leading a successful Mathematics department is essential. Experience of leading Business and/or Health & Social Care is desirable.
We are situated in Peterborough, one of the UK’s fastest growing cities, and we are transforming the life chances of our pupils by ensuring that every child can succeed, despite the challenges they may face. The key to our future success is based on an effective partnership between pupils, staff and parents. We will always aim to build positive, trusting and long-lasting relationships to support our pupils to be the best they possibly can be.
The Academy promotes high-quality learning as an entitlement for all pupils, no matter which courses they choose. Our Academy buildings create exciting environments which will stimulate and enrich pupils’ learning. The Academy also makes use of a wide range of state-of-the-art technology.
We are committed to supporting pupils and staff alike. Providing pupils with the highest quality education is of the utmost importance but we recognise that in order to achieve this, teachers and staff must be properly supported with strong leadership, a climate of trust, research and innovation, and ongoing CPD opportunities.
