The governors are seeking to appoint a full-time, permanent, hard-working Assistant Principal for our successful school. This is an amazing opportunity to develop your role as a senior leader: to lead and manage a whole school under the direction of the Executive Head, and who would like to take the next step in their career. This post is ideally suited for someone who has experience as an Assistant Head, or senior leader in school.
Key responsibilities:
- We are a happy, successful Catholic school family with a strong catholic ethos and are looking for someone to continue developing the Catholic life of the School;
- Continue to raise the standards of achievement across the school
- Work with the Executive Head and other leaders to provide an environment in which all staff and children are enabled to achieve success and to build towards achieving their potential;
- To have regard for the school’s data, teaching and learning, organising events, line management of staff;
- Share our vision of transforming learning to raise aspirations, secure an enjoyment and love of learning and develop a sense of pride in all that we do;
- To lead and manage key areas across the school and ensure an outstanding ethos is at the heart of everything;
- Be an outstanding and enthusiastic classroom practitioner with a proven track record of raising standards;
- Be an excellent communicator and able to work inclusively with pupils, staff, parents, Governors and other stakeholders;
- Have a proven ability to lead, inspire and motivate others;
- Be a resilient, organised and able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines;
- Be able to develop effective partnerships in order to drive forward change and shape the future direction of Holy Family Primary School;
- Work closely with the Assistant Head in the smooth running of Teaching and Learning;
- Show excellent coaching and mentoring skills
