Castle View is a rapidly expanding (12 -16) academy based on the edge of Portsmouth, serving the community of Paulsgrove. We are part of the United Learning group, the largest multi academy trust in the UK, and we are seeking a driven, ambitious and aspiring leader to join our team.
In the summer of 2020 we recorded year on year, record-breaking examination results, with 74% of students achieving 4+ and 53% 5+ in English. We know this is not good enough for our community and we are now seeking a ‘super hero’ with a proven record of raising outcomes, developing strong teams and having significant whole school impact, to join our team.

You will be dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated to achieve outstanding outcomes for our young people. You will join an academy that is committed to allowing teachers to teach in a disruption free learning environment and with the full support of an academy leadership team committed, to your professional development. You will use your motivation to lead a team of highly skilled practitioners with a range of experiences and expertise, all committed to the education of our students. We consider our English team to be the ‘best in Portsmouth’ and we are confident you will enjoy leading this amazing group.
To be a senior leader at our academy you must have a sense of humour, excellent subject knowledge, be ambitious for the team and have a proven track record of raising attainment and smashing targets out of the park.

The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to work closely with our Academy sponsor and English subject advisor across the South.
