Working Pattern: Full Time

The Skills Hub is a co-educational Alternative Provision for pupils in the London Borough of Hillingdon who cannot attend mainstream school for a variety of reasons. It currently offers 50 places to pupils aged 11-16, many of whom have been, or are at risk of, permanent exclusion.

It is an exciting time for The Skills Hub as it prepares to move into a brand new purpose-built site in the 2022-23 academic year and expand its intake to 120 pupils aged from 5 to 19. The new Free School will offer extensive facilities including music technology, catering and construction rooms as well as state of the art science labs and sports facilities.

We are looking for a leader and manager with a passion for excellence.

Seeking a passionate practitioner with a genuine commitment to inclusive education and raising standards with a proven track record of excellent practice within and outside the classroom. An outstanding teacher and behaviour specialist, dedicated to teaching and learning across academic and vocational pathways.

Knowledgeable, experienced and skilled with a track record for raising aspirations and delivering measurable outcomes.

You will be part of an incredible opportunity to contribute to the planning of curriculum and its delivery, to enhance our offer to young people in preparation for our Free School, which will include brand new technical/vocational facilities.

Specific responsibilities include supporting areas of school leadership, management, behaviour for learning, targeted interventions, outstanding classroom practice, and to deputise for the Principal or Deputy Principal as required.
