We are seeking to appoint, on a permanent basis, an enthusiastic and committed Assistant Principal to lead the Academy’s Inclusion/SEND provision. We seek to appoint an experienced SENCO who has a relentless drive for the highest of standards to join our passionate and hard-working team. We are looking for an individual who: 

• Is an outstanding and inspirational leader of inclusion and special educational needs 

• Holds a national award for SEND 

• Can demonstrate up to date working knowledge of issues around inclusion and disadvantaged groups 

• Is a highly effective class teacher, able to support others to develop their practice

• Can support and promote an inclusive culture throughout the academy, enabling all children to achieve their very best 

• Can play a key role in our Senior Leadership Team and demonstrate a real commitment to our collaborative vision 

• Can demonstrate outstanding impact on children’s learning and on teaching standards 

• Can act as a highly professional role model and inspire, motivate and develop children, staff and our academy community 

• Is an enthusiastic, flexible, hardworking team member who has a passion and desire to make a difference
