Tech City College is an Aspirations Academies Post-16 STEM specialist College and we are committed to raising students’ aspirations so that all young people reach their fullest potential and achieve the success they desire. Our aim is to educate and train the next generation of scientists, engineers, technicians, entrepreneurs and innovators. We are looking for highly motivated, aspirational leaders who will develop and lead on our journey to outstanding teaching and learning. The ideal candidate will be a strong curriculum leader who is passionate and enthusiastic about working with the academic and support staff to ensure our students gain invaluable practical, professional and personal skills through our aspirational programmes as well as raising students’ standards to the highest academic levels.

Values and vision

Tech City College is dedicated to academic excellence and prides itself on what it considers to be exceptional standards of attitude, respect, dress and behaviour among its staff and students. It wishes to give those studying at the college the opportunity to develop their personal and professional skills through a wide range of project based learning with employers. It is hoped that these employers will coach and mentor them to enhance their learning, develop their work ethic and equip them with the skills and experience required to excel in a competitive employment market.

The college also prides itself on the fact it affords its students a genuine voice through an active student Parliament where students are involved in decision-making at the college and able to develop competencies in leadership and management.
