Assistant Principal (two new posts)

The governors of Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College in Leeds, seek to appoint two Assistant Principals to join the Senior Management Team and play a major part in driving forward continuing improvements in Teaching and Learning, Academic Outcomes and Student Support.

The successful applicants will join a Senior Management team consisting of Principal, two Vice Principals and Finance Director. Whilst the particular focus of the two posts will be on leading Curriculum/Quality Improvement and Pastoral/Student Services respectively, applicants with management experience in other areas will be welcome. It is anticipated that responsibilities within the team can be adjusted to suit any applicant who meets the demanding criteria for the post.

To be successful, you will have:

  • an excellent record of successful teaching within the 16 - 19 age group
  • significant senior/middle management experience and a proven track record in raising standards
  • the excellent interpersonal skills necessary to lead and motivate a committed, capable team of staff
  • outstanding ability to anticipate and lead change
  • the ambition, vision and resilience to help lead the College successfully into the future
