About the role

Strategic leadership of pastoral care and inclusion across the academy ensuring equitable access to the curriculum for all students, regardless of their starting points

Use academy data to monitor, evaluate and review the effectiveness of pastoral and inclusion systems, strategies and interventions for students.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of additional funding to support all students to achieve.

 Lead, motivate, support, challenge and develop staff to secure outstanding practice in relation to pastoral care and inclusion.

 Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and work as part of the team, supporting all team members.

 Contribute to all aspects of Senior Leadership Team responsibilities.

 Work with the Senior Leadership Team to promote high expectations and aspirations for students and staff.

A leader with proven success in a leadership role within a secondary educational setting

Someone with a strong track record of professional development

Significant experience of leading and motivating a team to improve standards and outcomes

A proven track record in pastoral leadership and/or inclusion

 A proven track record of securing positive outcomes for students
