We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational SENDCO to join our Senior Leadership Team in the role of Assistant Principal. 

Morley Newlands Academy is part of The GORSE Academies Trust, a not-for-profit charity whose driving energy is centered on creating exceptional schools within the Leeds city region. The Trust has established a reputation for setting standards of excellence and achieving rates of improvements, which have received national attention. The Chief Executive Officer, Sir John Townsley, is a National Leader of Education and gives considerable support to an increasing number of primary and secondary schools across the North.

Morley Newlands Academy is an Outstanding school geared towards fulfilling its mission to ensure that all the children leave us with the key knowledge and skills that will enable them to become confident and highly capable life-long learners. We were awarded the World Class Schools Quality Mark in December 2019, which is valuable recognition for the special nature of our school. We are a large primary school, with over 650 children from Nursery age right up to Year 6. Situated close to the centre of Morley in south Leeds, our academy serves families from across the local community.
