Our Lady's Catholic High School is a highly successful, oversubscribed, 11-16 mixed High School of 900 pupils serving mainly the Catholic community in the north of Preston. We are seeking an experienced, well-qualified and outstanding teacher of Mathematics to take on a significant leadership role within our curriculum area of Mathematics.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the leadership, development and assessment of the KS3 Mathematics curriculum. However, our role as an Assistant Maths Hub means that there is the potential for a suitable candidate to have a much more significant leadership role within our Mathematics curriculum area and to engage with our work in both the Maths Hub and our Teaching School.

Our Lady’s Catholic High School is a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school without sixth form situated in Fulwood, Preston. It is a voluntary aided state school operating under the Diocese of Lancaster and is the lead-school of The Catholic Teaching Alliance, an association of more than 50 Catholic schools, mostly within its Diocese. An average-sized school, it will provide 900 places to pupils aged 11-16 when fully subscribed.
Our Lady’s was founded in 1988 as the result of an amalgamation of St Edmund Campion in Lead, which was founded in 1977, and St Cuthbert Mayne, which opened in 1963 and occupied the current site of the school. In 2004, Our Lady's became a mathematics and computing specialist school; in 2014, it was awarded the status of teaching school.
