Job overview
We are seeking to appoint for January 2018, or as soon as possible, an innovative and passionate Assistant Principal to lead the Academy on Teaching and Learning.
The Senior Leadership team and our dedicated staff have achieved great things in all aspects of the school in recent years. We are looking for a candidate with vision, drive and enthusiasm to help us continue this journey of sustained improvement as the school develops over the coming months and years. Applications are welcome from middle leaders looking for their first SLT role or from experienced leaders who are looking to further progress their career.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a well-proven, outstanding teacher
- Be a well-qualified leader with experience in either a whole school or subject based capacity
- Have the vision and commitment to make a positive contribution to teaching and learning in the Academy
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner with the ability to motivate and inspire staff and students,
- Be committed to raising standards across all departments
- Have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Be a role model to other colleagues
