Ark Putney Academy joined the Ark network in 2012 and is now on a journey to outstanding. We have recently undergone a £30 million renovation project and now boast facilities such as a new sports hall, state-of-the-art dance and recording studios and a 3G pitch.
We are looking to recruit an Assistant Principal (Teaching and Learning) to play an integral part in our journey to outstanding to assume responsibility for the quality of teaching and learning, as well as the continued professional development of the academy’s staff. As a member of the strategic leadership team, you will help establish a school culture that is both nurturing and rigorous.
Our Ideal Candidate will:
- have experience of successfully leading a department or developing whole-school teaching and learning
- have experience of delivering consistently outstanding lessons to students of all ages and abilities
- be experienced in managing others and supporting them to develop their teaching
- be committed to Ark ‘s ethos of high expectations and no excuses.
