An exciting opportunity has opened up for an exceptional leader to join our Senior Leadership Team at Corby Technical School and contribute to the continued success of this outstanding and high achieving school in Northamptonshire.  We offer an exceptional working and learning environment where students are placed at the heart of the learning experience.  We are looking for an inspirational teacher and confident leader with experience of whole school initiatives, and a proven track record of sustained impact. This role offers the prospect of directing whole school strategy for teaching. Key to this is ensuring approaches to delivery and assessment are carefully crafted to fulfil a well sequenced curriculum. This Assistant Principal will also have an impact on the learning of the students by holding the responsibility for the professional development of our teaching team, ensuring that we are informed by current and relevant research. Our school is passionate about training and developing teachers who are new to the profession, as well as providing a high-quality induction programme. Our new recruit will continue with this, engaging with external partners and the Northants Teaching School Hub to ensure all teachers have the very best start at our school.

• A fixed 8-week term structure allows for five standardised terms meaning that learning can be structured and delivered with consistency.  Holidays also fall outside ‘normal’ term structures allowing for inexpensive travel opportunities.
