Job overview

We seek to appoint an Assistant Science Technician to support both the team of technicians and teachers across the Science Department.


The ideal Assistant Science Technician will be a team player who is also forward thinking, visionary, receptive to change and able to work under pressure. In this role you will be supportive in the department engaging with staff and planning technical support for lessons. You will have experience working within schools and will be aware of the Health and Safety involved in the job.


With successful University and STEMNET partnerships, Science is a popular subject at St Bons with a 70% uptake at A-Level. Our science department is vibrant, we offer an innovative and creative curriculum and regularly enter inter-school competitions. In 2014 Science saw exemplary results of 85% achieving 2 or more A*-C grades at GCSE (of our full year group).
