DCSF Support Staff Salary Scales X33-X40 £23,413-£27,056 FTE 

£22,901-£26,465 Pro-rata 


We are seeking to recruit a reliable and passionate individual to join our school team.  The SENCO will ensure that the needs of our pupils are met in line with the Teachers and Departments. 


The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and NCFE CACHE Level 4 or above with extensive experience working within Special Educational Needs. 


Duties would include (but not limited to): 

• Deliver timetabled learning support lessons for small groups of pupils, relating to curriculum support needs 

• Maintain an accurate SEND, Monitor and Access Arrangements register

• Contribute to the school development plan and self-evaluation, with particular respect to provisions for students with SEND

• To develop, review and monitor the implementation of the school’s SEND strategy, policy and SEND Information Report 

• Establish a supportive relationship with children and parents in order to facilitate effective partnership and communication between home and school as appropriate

• Provide support and assistance for children’s pastoral needs
