An exciting career development opportunity has arisen within our successful Science department. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and talented candidate to help drive the department forward and further improve standards and achievement across both key stages.

You will assist in leading a team of supportive and highly motivated staff, whose responsibility is to ensure positive outcomes for all students.You will teach students at both KS3 and KS4 level.  The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success and will have the ability to motivate and inspire both staff and students to achieve beyond what they thought was possible.

The successful candidate will demonstrate, through application letter and interview that they are able to:

  • Assist in leading the Science department team.
  • Lead on intervention.
  • Model excellent professional practice.
  • Secure progress for Key stage 3 and 4 students with a range of different abilities.
  • Generate enthusiasm and passion for Science with all students.
  • Create and maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Support the overall progress and development of students.
  • Be a suitable role model for students and demonstrate high standards of professionalism.
