Marlborough College Malaysia is a co-educational boarding and day school that opened in August 2012. The school is situated in 90 acres of the Iskandar region of Malaysia close to Singapore and Johor Bahru.
In 2017-2018, there will be a total of around 380 pupils across the five year groups that make up the Senior School (Years 9-13).
The campus also provides for pupils aged from 4 years old (Reception) up with the roll next year at around 850. Boarding operates in six Houses accommodating boys and girls in Years 5-8 and Years 9-13. Following our Phase II development, which will be completed by August 2017, the College will grow to a maximum capacity of 1200 pupils.
The school is not a franchise but a genuine expansion of Marlborough College in the UK and is managed and governed by people who have a strong association with Marlborough.
Assistant Swim Coach
Marlborough College Malaysia requires an Assistant Swimming Coach, commencing August 2017, to support the Head Coach in the day to day delivery of the College’s swim programme as well as support training of the competitive swimming squad.
Squad
• Deliver squad sessions (pre planned by head coach)
• Refine swimming techniques
• Work some mornings from 7am, evenings until 5.45pm and some weekends (fixtures and meets)
Class Swimming Lessons
• Assist with swimming lessons with a focus on weaker swimmers
• Help build water confidence and basic stroke development
Requirements
• Over 18 years old
• Previous swimming experience - squad level
• Happy to work early mornings and evenings
• Works well as part of a team
• Enthusiastic, personable manner
• Experience of working with young children (ideal but not essential)
