Accountable to the Trust for the delivery of outstanding outcomes for young people, we are seeking to appoint talented professionals in the following areas:

Assistant Teacher

The principle aim for all staff, above anything else, is to improve LITERACY. Clearly, some students will have greater difficulty in improving their reading, writing and comprehension and, as a result, will make slower than expected progress. Working within the Pastoral Support Team, itself under the strategic leadership of our accomplished and experienced SENDCo, also our Deputy Headteacher, we wish to appoint a skilled Assistant Teacher to support the team and help our progression towards outstanding outcomes. A keen interest in helping us achieve even more remarkable transformations in our whole-school Literacy drive is essential.

We are looking for a colleague who will also have a keen interest in supporting the smooth running of the school day. The role is varied and challenging and you will be trained, guided and supported to be able to effectively complete important school-based tasks, to include:

  • Supporting the pastoral support and management systems in the school.
  • In-class support for designated students.
  • Occasional cover supervision.
  • Academic Interventions as required and directed by the Leadership Team.
  • Contribute more widely to the school using their experience, interests and skills. What have you got?
