Associate Assistant Headteacher Pastoral (Maternity) April or September 2023

A fantastic opportunity to work in a successful and inspiring school. We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dynamic Associate Assistant Headteacher to join our experienced Senior Leadership Team. The role is to cover a maternity leave. Specific responsibilities will be to lead on pastoral care and ensure the College’s behaviour systems are implemented correctly and consistently to support disruption free learning in the College.

Our most recent Ofsted in February 2020 rated the College ‘Good’ in all areas.

The successful candidate would be a passionate and dynamic teacher with experience of successfully raising the achievements of students in a middle management role. You will will be a good role model for staff, actively supporting the Catholic ethos of the school. We are looking for a person who will sustain a leadership ethos across the college which moves forward and solves problems by applying sound principles of leadership in a school that is:

• Ranked 25th Nationally of all Non-Selective Boys School for Progress 8 with P8 consistently positive.

• A Peter Jones Business Academy (part of a select group of schools nationally) providing exclusive resources, courses and competitions that enable all our students throughout the College to develop skills needed to be successful in their future lives. 

• Free use for staff of swimming pool and modern gym facilities
