We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified professional who is both passionate and knowledgeable to join our successful Mathematics department at an exciting time in the school’s history. The school has been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, most recently in January 2018:
“The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection. You have created an inclusive and purposeful environment. Blue Coat is a ‘welcoming school’. Pupils enjoy school. Staff are proud of the school. They believe that there is a culture that encourages calm and orderly conduct and is aspirational for all pupils.”
The ability to demonstrate a commitment to support highly effective leadership within the Mathematics department is essential, along with an excellent track record of high quality maths teaching. We set high expectations and are passionate about sustaining a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum for all of our pupils.
Blue Coat Church of England Academy is one of the oldest educational establishments in Walsall, is well-respected and valued by the community it serves.
