Exeter College Music Academy is looking to expand their already strong team of instrumental teachers. This is an exciting opportunity to teach music in a dynamic, creative and ambitious music department. Your job purpose is to provide an outstanding student experience through teaching and learning, enabling Music Academy students to develop their drumming skills to a standard that maximises their potential. Your main responsibility is to provide teaching on a one-to-one basis, which supports the students’ music curriculum and their personal progression goals. The successful candidate will be a professional/semi-professional musician with appropriate qualifications and industry experience, have experience of graded music examinations, read music fluently and demonstrate a deep interest in music education and music performance.

Successful applicants will be asked to perform a 3-5 minute selection of music and to conduct a short observed instrumental lesson with one of our current music students.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure by the DBS.
