An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join Exeter College to teach Economics A Level. Taught within the Faculty of Humanities, Economics currently has a significant cohort of over a hundred students and is set to continue to grow into the next academic year. We are looking for someone to teach Economics A level two to three days a week (this could be more if you able to offer teaching in other humanities subjects, and days could be flexible for right candidate). Applications are welcome from experienced teachers of Economics or recent graduates of the subject looking to start a career in teaching.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the subject and enthusing young people with it. Our A level learners that take Economics are very able and dedicated, many of them aspiring to continue the subject at the best universities in the country. The successful candidate will join a large wider humanities team who are dedicated to ensuring the delivery of high quality teaching and learning experiences across a number of subject areas. You will be supported and work alongside our dedicated full time Economist and so a willingness to share practice and collaborate is vital.
