Saint Francis Xavier College is a dynamic and ambitious Catholic Sixth Form College and part of the highest performing post-16 sector. A member of our Senior Management Team is leaving us and we are looking for a replacement with vision, initiative and tenacity. The successful candidate will be key to ensuring that the infrastructure of the College supports our current curriculum and facilitates our strategic plans for the future. As income streams have fallen, it has become of critical importance that finances are spent prudently, that income streams are maximised and that investments and developments are planned with strict due diligence and appropriate risk management.
This post, with its resources’ element feeds into diverse aspects of the College’s core and non-core business: finance; technology, estate management, capital development, statistical returns and control to name but some. The successful candidate needs to assist the Principal in keeping all these functions in tip top order at once, so experience and mature judgement is key. This post ensures that the College has the means and the capacity to drive agendas forwards and ensure an excellent learning experience for its students and a great working environment for its staff.
We are looking for a person of integrity and skill, with excellent communication skills and technical aptitude in several of the areas mentioned. The post reports directly to the Principal and you will be part of the Senior Team of four, along with the Principal and Associate Principals for Curriculum and Welfare respectively. We will commit to giving you every opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and experience of the post-16 education sector at the highest level to equip you for your next step.
