The Cedars Academy is an 11 to 18 Academy in Birstall, Leicestershire which has recently been rated ‘Good’ in all categories by OFSTED.  The Cedars Academy is committed to exacting high standards, raising attainment and demanding creative excellence from its staff and pupils.  At The Cedars Academy we are driven to ensure pupil success is at the core of all our work. The Cedars Academy is part of the growing Lionheart Academies Trust which is led by the ‘Outstanding’ Beauchamp College.  As the Trust grows there are increasing opportunities for professional development, sharing of good practices and collaborative work across the Trust.

We are currently looking to recruit a: 

Associate Principal on a permanent contract starting from August 2018 – Full time 

Based at The Cedars Academy in Birstall, part of the Lionheart Academies Trust Salary: Leadership Spine 25-29 (Currently £71,053 to £78,359)

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, passionate, committed person with proven experience in a Senior Leadership position, into the new post of Associate Principal.  The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner and have at least Deputy Head or Vice Principal experience.  The post holder will lead within the Lionheart Academies Trust as our System Leadership approach evolves and our Trust is further established. The successful candidate will be linked to our new Executive Principal.
