Job overview

We are seeking an outstanding teacher to fulfil the role of Associate School Leader in the North Central Region of REAch2. We are looking for someone with superb ‘people skills’ who can work in sometimes challenging circumstances to support teaching and learning and improve outcomes. The work is varied and the successful candidate will join our three existing ASLs working across the region.

There are presently 18 schools in the region, with three schools wishing to convert in the new academic year bringing the number of schools up to 21. The schools we presently work with are:

· Chapel End Junior Academy, Walthamstow

· Chigwell Primary Academy Chigwell, Essex

· Civitas Primary Academy, Reading

· Concordia Primary Academy, Havering

· Dorothy Barley Junior Academy, Dagenham

· Garden City Primary Academy Letchworth, Hertfordshire

· Green Ridge Primary Academy Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

· Langtons Junior Academy Romford, Havering

· Minerva Primary Academy Westminster, London

· Newhall Primary Academy Harlow, Essex

· Palmer Primary Academy, Reading

· Pemberley Primary Academy Harlow, Essex

· Purfleet Primary Academy Purfleet, Thurrock

· Ranikhet Primary Academy, Reading

· Summerside Primary Academy North Finchley, London Borough of Barnet

· Water Lane Primary Academy Harlow, Essex

· Wilshere Dacre Junior Academy Hitchin, Hertfordshire

· Woodside Primary Academy, Walthamstow

As you can see the schools are spread widely across north London and the Home Counties and therefore the successful candidate needs to be willing to travel to any of the schools within the region (mileage/train fares are paid) and sometimes beyond the region to support Trust wide priorities.

REAch2 Academy Trust aspires to create a family of primary academies that have strong reputations for delivering outstanding education for all pupils. We want our educational leaders to focus on children and learning.  To achieve that we have put in place a business infrastructure and systems that support our academies to secure best value for money and secure the economies of scale of the whole REAch2 Group.  This allows us to operate primary academies with the economic benefits of being part of a larger educational trust.

REAch2 Educational Trust was founded by Hillyfield Primary Academy in Waltham Forest.
