Are you looking for a flexible role that provides full training and the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team?

Maltings Academy and New Rickstones Academy in Witham, Essex are graded ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Good’ by Ofsted respectively. Both have a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff.

We are recruiting a number of Associate Teachers to join our Cover team. You will provide cover for classes in the event of absence of teaching staff in all areas of the curriculum. You will be responsible for following lesson plans provided and maintaining good order and focused activity. Training will be provided.

The successful candidates will be educated to Level 3 (minimum), have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate our learners. You will be able to adapt quickly to changing situations and ‘think on your feet’. These positions are on a casual, as and when basis. Working hours will be between 8.30am and 3pm.

Academy employees receive discounted membership at Witham Leisure Centre and linked centres in the Fusion Group.
